Event Super1 Round 3 First Practise
First practise to get used to the track was much harder than at Larkhall, I found it a much harder track especially with the bumps and vibrations.
After a couple of sessions we all got used to the track and started putting in competitive lap times. We were all in the top 6 by the end of the day.

Event Super1 Round 3 Second Practise
Saturday was dry all day with us all again being right on the pace. With new tyres on I flew getting the fastest time in the session by 0.2! I was also consistant which was very encouraging. But as the day went on it got hotter and hotter with the amount if grip increasing more and more. I started to struggle with too much grip causing the kart to feel terrible. I still was in the top 6 but the kart felt terrible.
At the last session, I took no. 39 but he delibratley turned into me wrecked a wheel, bending the axle almost at a 90 degree angle. I flew through the air and it bloody hurt. From up there I could see the awning This led to a BIG job to fix it and a big chunk to take out of my dads wallet.

Event Super1 Round 3 Raceday
The day was mega hot from start to finish with 32 degrees being the hottest it was like it all day! Never been so hot in my life!
All day I suffered with too much grip. We tried everything to cure it but it didn’t get rid of it, which slowed me down in the races.
For Heat 1 I started 4th, I took 2nd and held it untill Ollie Bourton took me at the hairpin, I stayed on his tail and got really good lap times staying with him all the way. Coming 3rd at the end. The kart felt difficult to drive due to it tramping and bogging down. Will came 8th. Max came 5th after starting 12th.
For Heat 2 I started 9th and the start was mad. I got to 8th but got involved in a big train behind Max, I held of Tommy for 7 laps but he got me after a banzai move into the harpin. I finsihed 9th alongside 8th place. Still the kart had too much grip and handled terribly. Max came 7th and Will came 13th after Fraser demonstrated how not to overtake again. This time Fraser got what he deserved, a black flag AT LAST! When he was it, the crowd went wild and cheered! :D
Heat 3 I started 13th I got to 11th but struggled with the kart again, losing speed down the straight. I struggled to improve and stayed 11th. Max and had a team 3rd and 4th place well done lads!
The final I started 7th, I had a great start up to 4th, I was soon punted off by no.19 down to 7th place I got back up to 6th as Max was struggling to hold off 19. I took Max for 5th, but no.47 bullyied me off the road and into the tyres. I was now really annoyed, took off twice in the same race. I fell to 8th. I was running on RED MIST, I caught the 8th place person. On the last corner I thought this is it, I have to get 7th. Down the straight I got into the slipstream, she went defensive, really tight so I moved to the outside braked so much latter than normal. I drove round the outside of her clinching 7th. It must have been the best move of my life. It was the gutsiest thing I have ever done aswell. Will came 10th and Max came 9th.
Overall we were very quick in the cooler conditions, in the hot conditions, we struggled which cost us valuble points. I am now 5th in the championship with 285 points. Still its quite good for my first year. :D
